Les Rencontres adolescentes / mardi 9 avril

Cette semaine nous accueillons au sein de l'équipe du Grand Bleu, Harry, un jeune lycéen anglais. Voici un article relatant le déroulement de la journée vu par les yeux de Harry.

"Young people from across Europe gathered in Le Grand Bleu today to share art and other work that was completed in the past week and to learn new techniques or skills that will be showcased later this week.

The previous week’s work that was shared in the morning was inspired by the young people’s idols or friends; however some found inspiration from other sources such as previous life experiences, interests, or simply the desire to create art. Expert artists were also present to oversee the day’s events, and later in the day, tutor the young people in such art forms as: photography, paper art and theatre. The wide array of art displayed in the morning ranged from photographs, drawings and paintings to films, live performances and dancing.

Le Grand Bleu’s main auditorium acted as the hub for the day’s appreciation of art. When gathered in the hall, the groups of different nationalities were mixed together and taken on a short tour of the theatre before enjoying the wide variety of art offered by their peers. The effort put in by the young people was astounding, with one group from a theatre in Norway performing a unique piece written especially for this event.

A warm-up after lunch further strengthened the friendly bond between the young people, and added a warm and humorous feel that would be mirrored in the rest of the afternoon’s activities. These activities included a lesson in photography led by Jacques Loeuille, a tutorial on how to make a sketchbook led by Anne Deuter, a writing workshop led by Alain CofinoGomez and the first rehearsal for a performance on Saturday, led by Maud Leroy.

This day of art was coordinated by Agnès Sajaloli and was enjoyed by all."
